According to the preliminary data from the General Administration of Customs, China’s imports of unwrought copper and copper semis were 420,000 mt during March, with YTD imports from January to March at 1330,000 mt up 37.8 % YoY.
April 2014
We can see how numbers have risen: China’s imports of unwrought copper and copper semis were 450,000 mt during April, with YTD imports from January to April at 1780,000 mt up 41.1 % YoY.
Aluminum lowering

Yet according to the preliminary data from the General Administration of Customs, China’s exports of unwrought aluminum and aluminum semis were 370,000 mt in March, with YTD exports from February to March at 850,000 mt, up 7.9 % YoY.
April 2014
We can indeed see a decrease about this product: China’s exports of unwrought aluminum and aluminum semis were 330,000 mt in April, with YTD exports from February to April at 1180,000 mt, up 7.3 % YoY.
