After a lengthy and delayed reception Apple Inc. has released the details of its latest inceptions of its iconic iPhone device. Coming in the standard 4.7” model and then the 5.5” ‘Plus model’ the iPhone 6 is also complemented by a new Apple watch. All of these devices feature Near Field Communication (NFC) which allows users to use the tap to pay technology (Also known as Paywave & Paypass). New features in the 6 and 6 plus include an all new faster and more energy efficient A8 processor, allowing the user to do tasks and run applications faster than in previous models. Also standard on both new models is the improved camera, now with image stabilization technology but still 8 Megapixels. What will also be music to the ears of many users is the improved battery life, with up to 6 hours extra active usage battery life and standby time increasing by a number of day. Pictured below are the different incarnations of the Apple Watch, however users won’t be able to get their hands on it until 2015.
It can directly link up with your iPhone and the multitude of supported applications. It boasts one of the most accurate clocks in the world, with it being constantly synchronized through the internet and GPS data, allowing it to seamlessly transition between time zones as you do. Of course you can message, make calls and use maps through the watch but less expected features include; a built in heart rate monitor, email, calendar, remote control and pedometer.
